Rows of Shells Scarf With Symmetrical Ends Materials and Tools: Yarn:  Caron Simply Soft, 1 skein; (315 yds/per 1 skein) Crochet Hook:  Boye 5.0mm Pony/Crow Beads  and small crochet hook, 2.75mm or smaller (Optional) Yarn Needle Crochet Terms And Abbreviations Used: R = Row Sc = Single crochet Dc= Double crochet Ch= Chain Sp = Space Sk = Skip Sl = Slip Stitch The pattern: Leave 8 inch  tail .  NOTE:  THE SCARF STARTS AT THE CENTER BACK OF THE NECK SO THAT THE TWO ENDS ARE IDENTICAL. Make the foundation loops (chained loops):  *Ch4, tr (treble crochet) on first chain of chain 4 that was just made. NOTE: ONE CHAINED LOOP IS MADE.  Ch3, dc on first ch of the ch-3 that was just made*  NOTE: SECOND CHAINED-LOOP IS MADE.  THE LAST ONE SMALLER THAN THE FIRST.  Repeat * * until there are 9 Chained loops altogether.  DO NOT TURN.
