Crocheted Flower Photo Tutorial--Round 4
The photo shows the new purple flower before it is attached to the old flowers. There are three flowers to which the new flower is to be attached.
White yarn is used as the background yarn connecting all the flowers together.
Step 1: Attach the white yarn as shown on photo, leaving about 2" tail.
Step 2: Insert hook on same st where the last round ended, yo once
Step 3: Draw up a loop
Step 4: Using the tail of the yarn, yo once
Step 5: Draw up a loop through the one loop on hook
Step 6: Pull the tail of the yarn all the way through the loop and pull it tight.
Step 7: Put these two yarn tails together
Step 8: Insert hook on the adjacent sp next to where the white yarn is attached
Step 9: Yo and draw up a loop
Step 10: Ch5
Step 11: Insert hook on back of next sc on top of the flower petal
Step 12: Yo, ready to make a sc
Step 13: Draw up a loop, so that there are 2 loops on hook
Step 14: Yo
Step 15: Draw up loop through two loops on hook. Sc is completed.
Note that Steps 12 to 15 are steps in making a SC stitch.
Step 16: Ch5, insert hook on next sc between flower petals, ready to make a sc.
Step 17: Yo and draw up loop through two loops on hook ( see steps 14 to 15) to complete the sc.
Repeat steps 10 to 17 to complete Round 4 on the remaining petals.
